I’m super excited to be heading to the DFW Auto Show again this spring. It’s just days away now and I’ll be meeting up with all my fellow auto journalists from the Texas Auto Writers Association and my friends at She Buys Cars. Being a huge Toyota fan I was really excited when SBC asked me to feature them as part of my writeup about the show. I emailed my Toyota contact and asked, just what should we be looking forward to at this event?
Toyota to Show Off the 2018 Camry and C-HR at the DFW Auto Show
While these won’t be initial debuts for either of these vehicles, this will be the first time the C-HR is revealed to the Texas audience. And where better to show off an urban inspired crossover than the metroplex?
As a Camry owner I’m always interested to see how this best selling mid-size sedan evolves over the years. I’ve driven just about every model since 2010 and I always feel right at home. Lately tho, I’ve been feeling more and more spoiled (and downright impressed) with some of the newer features. The 2018 Camry is slated to feature sleeker lines, a lower center of gravity and improved fuel economy. Personally, if I could just get this pretty red interior I’d be a happy girl.
Swoon.
The C-HR is totally new to me and I’m really excited to check it out.
I think this athletic little CUV is going to be popular with the younger crowd. It’s so sporty! With a starting MSRP of $22,500 it’s affordable, but you don’t have to sacrifice the standard first-class safety features that Toyota is known for, making it a great first vehicle for students. And the XLE version is less than $2,000 more, so go ahead, spoil yourself!
Everything I’ve seen and read about the 2018 Toyota C-HR so far impressed me and I can’t wait to see this one in-person. Be sure to follow me on Instagram at @TexasDriveBlog for lots of pictures.
